 What have you all been playing?

I've been very slowly playing Ikemen Revolution. Hoping to catch up before another route gets released, but I'm at like chapter 11 out of 27 on Lancelot's route still so who knows if I'll make it. I'm looking forward to being done in February though.

I just finished Hatoful Boyfriend and loved it. I was tipped off that there's story depth under the silly premise, and yep, very true.

I bought Hatoful Boyfriend when there was a PSN sale a while back, but I didn't end up getting very far in it. You're not the first person to say that there's more to it than just dating pigeons, so maybe I should give it another shot. It was definitely very silly, from what I remember of it.

I didn't like the silliness much either. But yeah, there's a lot more to it.

It's not the silliness that bothered me too much. I mean, I pretty much knew what I was getting into. I think the execution in the early part of the game just threw me off. It felt like an otome parody with a main character who was legitimately attracted to these pigeons. At least now I know that there's more to uncover so I have a reason to play again.

I just finished the first Code: Realize game the other day! Lupin's was my favorite route out of the five. It tied everything together so nicely, and I liked the dynamics between him and Cardia. I'm now working on Code: Realize ~Future Blessings~ since the third one comes out in a few weeks.

Does Future Blessings have a significant amount of content? I'm just finishing the base game and was wondering how much extra content there is.

Well, it's not as long as the first game because it's a fandisk. If you only want extra stories for the original five love interests, they're pure VN (no decisions) and you can finish each one in a single sitting. They also added a non-romantic side story, also without decisions. It's a single chapter long. Lastly, they added two new routes for both Herlock Sholmes and Finis. Finis seems like a familial route so far, but I haven't done Sholmes' route yet, so I don't know if it's gen or romantic. According to the walkthrough I've been using, they're five chapters each.

So there's a decent amount of content, but it won't take you long to beat. I'd recommend it if you're a big fan of the first game or if you want to explore the epilogues and new character routes.
