Otome novels with fandoms on ao3?

Hi all,

Are there any Otome novels other than Hakuoki that have decent-sized fandoms on Archive of our Own? Anyone know? I couldn't find a tag or category for them so I was wondering.

Mystic Messenger is probably the biggest one. Hatoful Boyfriend, Diabolik Lovers and Ikemen Sengoku are okay-ish (400+ is pretty big for an otome game, I think).

I just checked and apparently Heart no Kuni no Alice only has a little over 100 fics. I thought it'd be bigger, with all those tie-in manga series that seemed to be pretty popular.

Thank you! This is helpful. I've been thinking about trying Ikemen Sengoku and this gives me another reason.

Hmm! I'm not sure, but I imagine Hakuoki having an anime adaptation helps, a lot of the fic I've read was anime based.

...ok after some digging around the otome I remember having an anime, the only one with much of a fandom is is Diabolik Lovers *lets go of my theory*

Wow some of these fandoms are TINY. Code Realize only has 68 fics!

EDIT: There are 6000 fics for Mystic Messenger? SIX THOUSAND??? I really have to get around to this game o.O But uh...that's one to check out I guess!

Meanwhile I just finished the Oscar route for Confines of the Crown and it was so sweet! Thank you for the rec. I'll try another route soon.

I started Mystic Messenger and was really enjoying it but my (very old and janky) phone kept crashing :( I mean to borrow an ipad or something and finish it one day.

Yes, I remember liking Oscar's route. I think my fave was Nazagi but it's been a while.

I saw you wrote a fic based on the Nazagi route, I'll take a look at it once I've done the route. Which will probably be soon. I did the Collette route last night and it was sweet but went *very* fast.

Yeah, and sadly not the first game I've played whose one f/f route is MUCH shorter than the others :/

From what I can see on Ao3, Mystic Messenger, Hatoful Boyfriend, Diabolik Lovers, and Ikemen Sengoku seem to have the biggest fandoms.

Can't speak for Hatoful Boyfriend and Diabolik Lovers, but I do know there is a fan network on tumblr for Ikemen Sengoku, and a few of their authors crosspost to Ao3 as well. Here's a link to their tumblr page in case you're curious ^^;
